How To: Make Your Bed Comfortable

zaterdag 15 augustus 2015

How many hours do you spend on your bed daily? My bed is where i basically sleep, socialize, eat and breathe so basically it's my life! It's important that you personalize your bed but mostly to make it comfortable. Imagine having a bed so hard that it feels like the mattress is made out of rocks; HORRIBLE. Here are 5 tips and tricks on how to make your bed comfortable that you never want leave your bed!

1. Layer your bed with throw blankets and more blankets! Start with a thin layer and just keep on adding more and more blanket till you have the thickest blanket ever! The difference between throw blankets and normal blankets is that it is lighter, prettier, so-tumblr and comfortable

2. If you have throw blankets? why don't you just add throw pillows too! You can even sew all the pillows together and just use it as a duvet cover! I bet it will feel like you're sleeping on the skies or sleeping with thousands of sheep's wool!

3. I've been doing this already for 1 month and i can literally feel the difference when i am sleeping or just rolling around my bed! If you have a hard mattress like me then just add blankets or duvets on top of each other and when you think it is soft enough just put a top sheet to cover it.
P.S Keep in mind that there should't be any decorations of the blankets or duvets otherwise you will feel it when your lying down on your bed

4. If you don't have a headboard, then make one! When i am in the mood to sit down and want to lean on something i always lean on my headboard and it's really comfortable because it is so soft! If you want to know how to make a headboard just click the link below~

5. Lastly, PERSONALIZE IT! i know this is the most obvious one but when i'm so tired from school and just seeing my ready-made bed which i made in the morning makes me so happy because i can see my stitch pillow and so many of my teddy-bears.

How to: Keep a Hakuna Matata Life

I don't know about you but i just finished the first week of school and i am already stressing out with lots of projects and homework. Everytime you go to the next grade it means that there will be  more homework and sometimes stressing out too much might effect your life. So here are 5 quick tips and tricks on how to keep a hakuna matata life and that are actually a WIN=WIN situation.

1. Drink green tea, some of you might not like green tea but did you know that green tea is good for your health and because of the unsual tea taste. It is actually making you less stressed!

2. Painting/doing something creative. When i am sad or stressed out i just paint my feelings to the canvas and when i'm starting to cool down. I see the canvas and start adding colors or stones to make it more prettier. So at the end you are happy and have a beautiful canvas you can hang in your house

3. One word: SUN. Go out to the park or garden and just sit there and look up to the sun. Just sit there until you feel relaxed again and while you're sitting down, listening to the birds, grass, wind or people talking. At the end you have a a good mood and maybe even a tan!

4. Watch a movie or a tv show or even youtube, it doesn't matter what but just watch something! I usually go to youtube and just watch my favorite band performing or sometimes i watch chicflick cause obviously the hot dudes are making me relaxed

5. Lastly, this might be the easiest trick but just go and have fun with your friends! It can be from painting your nails to planning a vacation together. It doesn't matter what you do with your friends because they will make you feel better
